Technologies In-Use
General Technology Statement
We are very fond of technology: from a generalist's perspective to
a deep-grass want-to-know-more-about-it forward bent.
We have been associated with various software development methodologies, project & practice management processes, delivery mechanisms, you-name-it and we do indeed want-more-of-it, etc.
It began with second generation computers - ever continuing to present day market-available stuff.
We love all kinds of photography and video. In addition, we will soon to be scratching-the-surface with animation as an specialized interest for "learning tools", and other current and future publishing platforms like the iPad.
Pleeeeeeeeeeease - just introduce us to the future generation we-want-at-it-now "TecH".
Along that thought line, we are always inspecting methodologies, while testing different technologies for the future.
You can visit us now not only here, but you can see us on the web at different places (i.e. for those of you that need evidence please Google Bob Benninghofen and a couple of things might pop-up).
(Note) You should also be able to see us on many different hand held devices - other emerging places we'll be targeting in the future too.
Our Technology Bias
We have bias toward Apple platforms, having moved from PC's since September 2009. Based upon our business and product development requirements, this was an effective decision, especially since video production and imagery lies at the heart of our thinking and development ideas for product delivery.
Video Focus
We are temporarily using embedded Flash Video for our free videos.
These videos are
playable on platforms with browsers which support Flash Video.
Flash will not play on your iPhone and you will see only a small Icon box where the flash video normally displays.
However, immediately below the flash video icon box, you will see our Video Access icon (e.g. close by - the blue circle with white, red, and yellow lettering).
Click on the Video Icon and you can access and play on iPhone's, iPod's and iPad's, along with any other devices which plays m4v files, such as iTunes or QuickTime Player.
Our plan is to be current and compliant with open standards (e.g. HTML5, H.264, etc.).
Video Hosting
In the long-term, we will move our videos to a hosting service vendor in the near future: we are testing vendors right now!!!
We are a bit behind the tech-curve at this point in time because we have been focusing our attention on developing our self-coaching & workshop products.
Please be patient during this transition period. You believe that you will be happy with our future releases.
