Summary: This inspirational book is a work of fiction about the life of David Ponder, a 46 year-old fired executive who suddenly finds himself with all hope lost, no purpose in life, completely at his end in despair. He has no job, no money, a daughter suffering for medical attention, and he is engaged in an escapist high-speed drive, careening out of control bounding over a bridge headed toward his death with a tree targeted as his final destination. He is snatched from this destiny and delivered into the past to learn some lessons by having seven important conversations that provide him with wisdom. He is given a final glimpse into the future to see what may be possible for him.

The book is an imaginative piece of fiction that brings you in direct contact with two former presidents Harry Truman and Abraham Lincoln, King Solomon, Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, Christopher Columbus, Anne Frank, and the Archangel Gabriel. Like me, you will not want to put the book down: it is easily readable in one afternoon. You will be touched by the story, but more importantly you will gain hope and the traveler’s gifts to help you succeed in your own life.
